The new CALLIOPE Silver range employs different technologies, resulting in ultra-realistic soundstage, natural and lively reproduction with fantastic realism and sensitivity! The speakers are designed to be neutral and coherent throughout the audible range of frequencies. The finer details in all the frequencies are conveyed by means of newly designed anti-MDI full-range drivers, providing optimal precision and coherency of emission. In addition, the drivers are now fixed at the front and at the back, inside the cabinets, to ensure optimal vibration control and precise reproduction of the audio signal. Bass and midrange response can be tuned easily by adjusting the new rear port. An optional tweeter is used, which is dedicated to the high end of the audible spectrum, and further enhances the atmosphere as well as the naturalness of the reproduction.

The Calliope.21 Silver full range speakers is best driven by low wattage amplifiers e.g. SET amplifier. It is exceptionally dynamic, open, fast and musical with tonality as pure as its design goals. Fans of acoustic music will immediately recognise its virtues and fans of modern music will too find this new sound (quite unlike horn or any conventional speakers) involving and captivating.

Our Listening Impression:
- The Calliope speaker may not impress you in a flash. It draws the listener into the music gradually.
- When listening to the Calliope speaker, its very much like listening to an actual acoustic instrument (think: guitar). You would not dissect its sound into high-mid-low notes but take it in completely.
- The pure, open, natural tone of the speaker is charming and after sometime, you could even find some conventional makes “colored” and hi-fi sounding
- Calliope throws a life-size image and yet plays comfortably near-field. The sweet-spot is just spellbinding!
- Never associate the full range Calliope speakers as lack of “balls” - its ability to play loud (without strain) and handle dynamic swing is a must-experience.
