Queens’ hi-fi system in his living room.

Aesthetically pleasing we must say even before the cable dressing.
 

Queens’ upgrade from his previous rig, Thorens turntable to the modern Origin Live Resolution Mk2 turntable with Illustrious Mk3c tonearm. The leap in sound is huge. The ease, detail, refinement, quietness is so evidently noticed from the first track.

The rest of Queens’ system include Macintosh digital player, Audiospace pre, Sanders power amp, EAR phono stage and the PS Audio power conditioner. Notice the black sandwich-looking box placed on the top right of the power conditioner (lower right of picture)? It is none other than the new turntable’s Upgraded Transformer (and it’s heavy).

The new Origin Live Illustrious Mk3c tonearm (carbon hybrid armtube) is so gorgeous to look at. The Furutech AG-12 phono cable was favoured after A/B with two other cables.

Origin Live places a lot of emphasis on motor stability and quietness to achieve pitch perfect playback. This can be seen on the oversized motor on the left. We foresee Queens would be stocking up his LP collection in no time.
