Like all Shindo Labs (Japan) products, Monbrison preamplifier is hand made, one at a time, with all poiint to point wiring. Using only the best matched, best quality new old stock (NOS) tubes from Shindo Labs huge stockpile of NOS collected through the decades from some of the finest and rare models including Telefunken, Seimens, Tungsram, Amperex , RCA, Phillips etc. It is one tube equipment that would allow audiophiles to forget about tubes because this is as good as it gets. Monbrison uses 7 NOS tubes, amorphous core moving coil step up transformers and all vacuum tube rectified and regulated power. Monbrison sits one above the line-only entry level model - it consisting of 5 input (RCA only) with moving magnet and moving coil inputs for vinylphiles. The built-in MC phono section can accept cartridges with as little as 0.2mV output.
