[Upgraded] Shuttle Bug did some major rework to his entertainment room since our last visit. For his previous setup, please click the picture on your right.
Shuttle Bug told us the last time that he’s going to touchup his music room but we didn’t expect this. OK - there’s the new wall to wall acoustic curtains; thick carpeted flooring; a high-end massage chair; two equipment racks; frequency generator tweak; new speakers and two new Clearaudio products - Syncro “SPG” and Matrix recording cleaning machine. Santa just came early.
Again we have to apologize to Shuttle Bug (a second time) for not getting the pictures right - his room looked way better than what our camera was capable of. For the record, his now treated, good-size music room is quiet, neat and aesthetically pleasing.
To us the revamped room and systems are almost totally unrecognizable from the old. Wow.
The Clearaudio Syncro “SPG” on the lowest left shelf (the box with blue led-light panel) now controls the Clearaudio Performance Magnum turntable motor speed to pitch perfect. Changing record speed is now just a push-button affair. Fine-tuning the motor speed to second accuracy is also made possible with the easy dial via the motor speed controller.
The new Clearaudio Matrix record cleaning machine (rcm) is placed outside of the main music room or more accurately besides his secondary system - owner has more than 1 system. The Clearaudio Matrix is a high-end robust and an extremely effective LP cleaning machine partly due to its highly powerful 2-speed vacuum cleaning suction.
We wonder if the slim-line, lustrous Pearl White Performance Magnum turntable and MacBook are somewhat related or comes from the same designer? No argue to handsome hi-fi.
All the goodness is consumed from this mission control or “emperor’s seat” per what HK audiophile calls it. The tall, black dry-box to the right of the massage chair houses Shuttle Bug’s other treasures.
